Welcome to Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (the "Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio, located at 320 Barton Springs Road, Austin, TX 78704, governing your use of our recording studio services, including but not limited to audio recording, mixing, mastering, voice over recording, sound design, and podcast production.
2. Booking and Payment
All studio time must be booked in advance through our website, by phone at (512) 555-1212, or via email at [email protected]. A deposit of 50% of the total estimated cost is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the session. We accept payments via credit card, debit card, and bank transfer. Cash payments may be accepted with prior arrangement.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the scheduled session will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made between 24 and 72 hours before the scheduled session will receive a 50% refund of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session will forfeit the entire deposit. Sonic Sanctuary reserves the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, such as equipment malfunction or staff illness. In such cases, a full refund will be provided, or the session can be rescheduled at no additional cost.
4. Studio Usage
Clients are responsible for their conduct while in the studio. Any damage to equipment or the studio premises caused by the client or their guests will be the client's responsibility, and the client will be liable for the cost of repair or replacement. Smoking, vaping, and the use of illegal substances are strictly prohibited within the studio. Food and beverages are permitted in designated areas only. Clients are expected to treat studio staff with respect and professionalism.
5. Intellectual Property
Sonic Sanctuary retains ownership of all recordings and intellectual property created during the session until full payment has been received. Upon receipt of full payment, the client will own the rights to the recordings. Sonic Sanctuary may use excerpts of the recordings for promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Clients are responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses and permissions for any copyrighted material used in their recordings.
6. Liability
Sonic Sanctuary is not liable for any loss or damage to personal belongings brought into the studio. We are not responsible for any artistic decisions made during the recording process. While we strive to provide the highest quality service, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results. Our liability is limited to the cost of the studio session.
7. Confidentiality
Sonic Sanctuary respects the confidentiality of our clients' projects. We will not disclose any information about your recordings or business dealings to third parties without your explicit consent, unless required by law.
8. Data Protection
Sonic Sanctuary collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy . By using our services, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Termination
Sonic Sanctuary reserves the right to terminate this agreement and refuse service to any client who violates these Terms or engages in disruptive or unprofessional conduct. In the event of termination, any remaining studio time will be forfeited, and no refund will be provided.
10. Amendments
Sonic Sanctuary reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically to ensure that you are aware of any changes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Austin, Texas.

13. Acceptable Use Policy
Our recording studio and its equipment are provided for professional audio production purposes. Any use of the studio for illegal, unethical, or malicious activities is strictly prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, the creation or distribution of content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or discriminatory. Violation of this policy may result in immediate termination of services and legal action.
14. Equipment Usage and Responsibility
Clients are expected to use studio equipment with care and respect. Any misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modification of equipment is strictly prohibited. If you are unsure about how to operate any equipment, please ask for assistance from our engineers. Clients are financially responsible for any damage caused to equipment due to misuse or negligence.
15. Studio Environment
We strive to maintain a clean, organized, and professional studio environment. Clients are expected to help us keep the studio tidy by cleaning up after themselves and disposing of any trash properly. Please be considerate of other clients and staff by minimizing noise and distractions.
16. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from the use of Sonic Sanctuary Recording Studio's services shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If a resolution cannot be reached through negotiation, the parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing any legal action. The costs of mediation shall be shared equally between the parties.
